Art of Youth – Surprise!

To my delight and surprise (!), my wonderful wife (not pictured here… she’s behind the camera)did something, well, wondeful for my 40th birthday this year. She arranged something that I had not done for myself after all these years of photography, and that was to stage a gallery art show.

Drawing on my eight years of work with the BeautifulYouth Project, she culled about 30 of what she felt was my best work, rented a gallery space, sent out invitations, and put on the show “The Art of Youth”. Mind you, this is all without my knowing! Was I ever surprised!

It was a wonderful evening with champagne and cake, and friends, family, and even strangers stopping by to take in some of the wonderful shots I have been privileged to capture with the BeautifulYouth Project.

Thanks to everyone who came… thanks to everyone who knew about the party and still kept it a surprise! And, most of all, thanks to my wife who I keep finding out is far too good for me! How did I ever find you?
