{"id":61,"date":"2008-02-24T05:42:00","date_gmt":"2008-02-24T13:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beautifulyouth.com\/b\/?p=61"},"modified":"2008-02-24T05:42:00","modified_gmt":"2008-02-24T13:42:00","slug":"art-of-youth-surprise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beautifulyouth.com\/b\/?p=61","title":{"rendered":"Art of Youth &#8211; Surprise!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To my delight and surprise (!), my wonderful wife (not pictured here&#8230; she&#8217;s <em>behind the camera)<\/em>did something, well, <strong>wondeful<\/strong> for my 40th birthday this year. She arranged something that I had not done for myself after all these years of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beautifulyouth.com\/blog\/uploaded_images\/galleryparty2-710348.jpg\"><img style=\"FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.beautifulyouth.com\/blog\/uploaded_images\/galleryparty2-710343.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>photography, and that was to stage a gallery art show. <\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>Drawing on my eight years of work with the BeautifulYouth Project, she culled about 30 of what she felt was my best work, rented a gallery space, sent out invitations, and put on the show &#8220;The Art of Youth&#8221;. Mind you, this is all without my knowing! Was I ever surprised!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It was a wonderful evening with champagne and cake, and friends, family, and even strangers stopping by to take in some of the wonderful shots I have been privileged to cap<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beautifulyouth.com\/blog\/uploaded_images\/galleryparty1-772022.jpg\"><img style=\"FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.beautifulyouth.com\/blog\/uploaded_images\/galleryparty1-772015.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>ture with the BeautifulYouth Project.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Thanks to everyone who came&#8230; thanks to everyone who knew about the party and still kept it a surprise! And, most of all, thanks to my wife who I keep finding out is far too good for me!
