Bricks and Tattoos

We had a great time shooting with Hawk this weekend. It was fun to see him, as he has grown several inches since we last shot.
For the first part of the shoot, we sought out a brick building to shoot against. As a special treat, Hawk’s father drove us there in style in his new Mustang Shelby… a very sweet ride. We found the perfect building and wall on a side street that jutted off the main drag through town. After we had been there awhile, we noticed several cars coming round the block and slowing down to watch the shoot… seems people were curious what celebrity was being photographed!
After a nice set with brick, we retreated in the (still) early-fading California sun to do some work indoors against a backdrop. We decided to make the theme tattoos, for which Hawk has quite a fondness. Although my available tattoo collection was small, we found some acceptable body art for Hawk and got to work applying them and readying for the shoot. This was a fun and challenging shoot, as we haven’t worked indoors for awhile. But I think we got some wonderfully artistic shots… look for them soon in the galleries!

As always, we feel lucky to be working with such wonderful models, and Hawk is no exception. We definitely look forward to many more shoots with him!
